After getting to know Sprout, a Portland-based health coaching business, for more than a year, I was excited to hear from Skylor–Sprout’s owner, and one of my favorite yogis on the planet!–about re-designing her web site! Skylor already had a basic WordPress site for her coaching business, and a separate blog of recipes and lifestyle tips with an established following. She had me bring the two sites together with the Web Site Refresh package, with a cleaned-up design, and a members-only section for her new online cleanse.
Skylor invests a lot of energy into producing her own unique content, so I customized her WordPress theme to place that content front-and-center, and also added in navigation elements to help visitors find her posts about specific topics, from cooking and yoga tips, to dairy-free and gluten-free recipes. I also added styles and colors to help her easily create a consistent look throughout her site, and there’s a wealth of password-protected content now online for her new Shift Cleanse.
When we met again a couple of weeks later, she was already getting positive feedback about the improvements we made, and the Shift Cleanse was well on its way to success. Skylor needed new business cards to go with her new web site, so I whipped up a business card design incorporating the beet image from her logo, and coined a little slogan to go with it: Feel good. Live happy. Just a few clean and simple words felt like they perfectly summed up what Sprout is all about–finding ways to create a lifestyle that makes you feel good.
Sprout is now offering the Shift Cleanse, both online-only and with phone and e-mail support, and there are plenty of other cool options for health coaching and wellness programs, if you prefer the in-person approach. Even if you’re not looking for coaching right now, there are plenty of fun ideas for healthy meals and treats on her blog, so be sure to check it out and try something new!
